The Student Advisory and Welfare Council (SAWC), in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council
(IIC), organized β€œBizVision 2025: Innovate, Impact &Β Inspire” on April 5 at DAV College, Jalandhar.
The event was inaugurated by Prof. Ashok KapoorΒ (Registrar & Chairman, Dept. of Commerce), welcomed
by Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Dean SAWC Prof.Β Manish Khanna, and IIC Convener Dr. Rajiv Puri. In his
address, Prof. Kapoor encouraged students to breakΒ conventional boundaries and solve modern business
challenges creatively.
The exhibition was also graced by Dr. Kunwar Rajeev,Β Prof. Sonica Dania, Dr. Naveen Sood, Prof. Sharad
Manocha, Prof. Vishal Sharma, and Dr. Sahib Singh, allΒ of whom praised the students’ efforts and innovative
themes.
The exhibition featured three core themes:

πŸ”Ή GST: Transforming the Business Landscape
πŸ”Ή Business Models: Reimagining Success in a Dynamic World
Over 250 students showcased 110+ innovative posters,Β offering insightful perspectives on current economic
issuesβ€”from the impact of GST to futuristic startupΒ models and modern business strategies.
A panel of expert judges, including Dr. SanjeevΒ Dhawan, Prof. Maneesh Arora, Prof. Nidhi Aggarwal,Β Dr. Ekjot Kaur, Prof. Isha Sehgal, and Dr. RajwantΒ Kaur, evaluated the entries on creativity, relevance,Β and impact.
Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar appreciated the students’ innovative thinking and applauded SAWC and IIC for
creating a vibrant platform for talent and ideas. Prof.Β Manish Khanna added, β€œBizVision 2025 was a true
celebration of intellect, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit.” The event highlighted the college’s commitment to
academic excellence and innovation.
