DAV College Jalandhar established in 1918 in the sacred memory of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati to impart modern knowledge along with the Vedic traditions to the youth of contemporary India. AICTE Training & Learning Academy

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) through its newly established AICTE Training And Learning (ATAL) Academy have started unique faculty development programs in various thrust areas of modern technology with an objective to help in imparting quality technical education in the country and to support technical institutions in fostering research, innovation and entrepreneurship through training in various emerging areas.

About the Program

Artificial Intelligence (AI) represents the emulation of human intelligence within computer systems, enabling them to learn, adapt, and perform tasks traditionally requiring human cognition. Its applications span diverse domains, profoundly impacting various sectors.
AI deals with the study and creation of computer systems that exhibit some form of intelligence. Machine learning is subset of AI, which can be used to build such predictive models. This FDP on “Artificial Intelligence & Its Applications” aims at providing a common platform to the Academia & Industry to interact with experts to share and enhance the knowledge about the latest technologies pertaining to Machine Learning. The participants would learn to develop methods for solving problems related to diverse computational fields. The six days programme is primarily designed for Faculty members, Postgraduates , Research Students and Other professionals who either have an interest in this subject or have this subject as a part of their curriculum.

Who Can Apply

Faculty members of the AICTE approved institutions, Research scholars, PG Scholars, Industry professionals, nominated by the head of the institutions. Please Note:

  • Selection of participants will be on first come first serve basis for a maximum of 50 participants only.
  • There is no registration fee. There would be no provision for lodging from organisers. However, refreshments & lunch would be provided free of cost.
  • External Participants will also get a lump sum Travelling allowance subject to travelling more than 20 Km one side and attending at least 90% of the sessions.
