Eligibility

BA/B.Sc. with 50% marks in aggregate and having Math as one of the subject. OR
B.Sc. (Hons. School in Physics), B.Sc. Engg. with 50% marks in the aggregate and having Math as one of the subsidiary subjects.
Or
BA/B.Sc., in full subjects obtaining 45% marks in Math
B.Sc. Degree in any Science subjects (any combination) with at least 50% marks or equivalent exam

Course Outcome

CO 1- Apply the knowledge of mathematical concepts in interdisciplinary fields.
CO 2- Understand the nature of abstract mathematics and explore the concepts in
furt2her details.
CO 3- Model the real-world problems in to mathematical equations and draw the
inferences by finding appropriate solutions.
CO 4- Identify challenging problems in mathematics and find appropriate solutions.
CO 5- Pursue research in challenging areas of pure/applied mathematics.
CO 6- Employ confidently the knowledge of mathematical software and tools for
treating the complex mathematical problems and scientific investigations.
CO 7- Continue to acquire mathematical knowledge and skills appropriate to
professional activities and demonstrate highest standards of ethical issues in
mathematics.
CO 8- Comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation related to
mathematical research and literature, make effective presentations.
CO 9- Qualify national level tests like NET/GATE etc.
CO 10- Effectively communicate and explore ideas of mathematics for propagation
of knowledge and popularization of mathematics in society
