𝐃𝐀𝐕 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐡𝐚𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐓𝐔 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭

Students of DAV College Jalandhar showcased their talent at the Media Fest organized by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (PTU), bringing laurels to the institution.

Gurinder Singh (MAJMC–II) secured 1st Position in the Photography Competition, while Prabhdeep Singh (BA Voc JMC–III) achieved 2nd Position in the Personality Reflection event. Manpreet Singh (BJMC–III) received a Consolation Prize in News Report Writing and also bagged 3rd Position in the Photography Competition held at HMV College, further highlighting the department’s consistent excellence.

Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar congratulated the students for their commendable achievements, applauding their dedication, creativity, and discipline. He emphasized the importance of such platforms in enhancing students’ academic and professional growth by building confidence and real-world skills.

Mrs. Meenakshi Mohan, Head of the PG Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, also praised the students’ efforts and extended her best wishes for their future endeavors.

Faculty members Prof. Sushant Bharadwaj and Prof. Sadanand Mehta played an instrumental role by mentoring and accompanying the students throughout the event, contributing significantly to their success. Their constant support and guidance helped the students perform with confidence and excellence.
