NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of DAV College Jalandhar celebrated National Youth Day.

National Youth Day was celebrated at DAV College Jalandhar.
The NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of DAV College Jalandhar celebrated National Youth Day. The celebrations included a Havan Yagna, oath-taking ceremony, and a dialogue session for volunteers, all under the guidance of Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar.
Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar shared his thoughts, stating that National Youth Day is celebrated every year on 12th January in India. He emphasized that this day is dedicated to Swami Vivekananda, a source of inspiration for millions of young people in the country and one of the most influential leaders in Indian history. He shared important insights about the life of Swami Vivekananda with the volunteers.
Dr. Sahib Singh, In-charge of the NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club, presented his views, highlighting that the youth are the greatest strength of the nation. He emphasized that if they perform their duties responsibly, they can lead the country to greater heights. Prof. Ashima encouraged the younger generation to demonstrate their capabilities through practical actions.
Volunteer Rency also shared her valuable insights. Dr. Gurjeet Kaur, Program Officer, expressed gratitude to all. Senior Vice-Principal Dr. S.K. Tuli, Vice-Principal Dr. Kunwer Rajeev, Registrar Prof. Sonika Dania, Prof. Seema Sharma, Prof. Komal Arora, Prof. Vivek Sharma, Prof. Gagan Madaan, Dr. Sunil Thakur, Prof. Rahul, Prof. Pankaj, Prof. Ashima, and volunteers were among those present in the celebrations.
