The PG Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, in collaboration with Creative Adda, recently hosted a dynamic Open Mic event on March 27, 2025, in the Biotech Seminar Hall. The event provided a vibrant platform for students to showcase their talents in poetry, music, stand-up comedy, storytelling, and mono-acting, drawing an enthusiastic audience from various disciplines.
Vice Principal Dr. S.K. Tuli encouraged participants, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in shaping studentsβ futures. Registrar Sonika Dania, along with faculty members Dr. Seema, Prof. Kiran, and Dr. Renuka Malhotra, attended to support and motivate the students. With the backing of Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar and the guidance of JMC Head Prof. Meenakshi Mohan, the department remains committed to fostering creativity.
The eventβs lively atmosphere and overwhelming response made it an unforgettable experience. Creative Addaβs founder, Harsh, and co-founder, Aditya, awarded a one-month paid internship to Roshni, Manpreet Singh, Khushnoor, and Prabhdeep Singh.
