The Student Advisory and Welfare Council (SAWC), in collaboration with the Institutionโs Innovation Council
(IIC), organized โBizVision 2025: Innovate, Impact &ย Inspireโ on April 5 at DAV College, Jalandhar.
The event was inaugurated by Prof. Ashok Kapoorย (Registrar & Chairman, Dept. of Commerce), welcomed
by Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Dean SAWC Prof.ย Manish Khanna, and IIC Convener Dr. Rajiv Puri. In his
address, Prof. Kapoor encouraged students to breakย conventional boundaries and solve modern business
challenges creatively.
The exhibition was also graced by Dr. Kunwar Rajeev,ย Prof. Sonica Dania, Dr. Naveen Sood, Prof. Sharad
Manocha, Prof. Vishal Sharma, and Dr. Sahib Singh, allย of whom praised the students’ efforts and innovative
themes.
The exhibition featured three core themes:
Startups: Catalysts of Innovation and Growth GST: Transforming the Business Landscape Business Models: Reimagining Success in a Dynamic WorldOver 250 students showcased 110+ innovative posters,ย offering insightful perspectives on current economic
issuesโfrom the impact of GST to futuristic startupย models and modern business strategies.
A panel of expert judges, including Dr. Sanjeevย Dhawan, Prof. Maneesh Arora, Prof. Nidhi Aggarwal,ย Dr. Ekjot Kaur, Prof. Isha Sehgal, and Dr. Rajwantย Kaur, evaluated the entries on creativity, relevance,ย and impact.
Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar appreciated the studentsโย innovative thinking and applauded SAWC and IIC for
creating a vibrant platform for talent and ideas. Prof.ย Manish Khanna added, โBizVision 2025 was a true
celebration of intellect, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit.โ The event highlighted the college’s commitment to
academic excellence and innovation.
