The PG Department of Computer Science and IT, under the IT FORUM, hosted an engaging tech fest, โ€œNET SAVVYโ€, on March 24, 2025, in Lab 8. The event focused on Cybersecurity Awareness, drawing 16 enthusiastic participants eager to enhance their digital knowledge.
Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar praised the students’ active involvement, while Dr. Nischay Bahl, Head of the Department, emphasized the significance of being internet-savvy in todayโ€™s digital landscape. Prof. Ritika Sobti, event in-charge, highlighted the importance of online safety, critical thinking, and digital literacy. Prof. Gagan Madaan, President of IT FORUM, encouraged students to leverage such platforms for learning, networking, and innovation.
The event provided a space for students to showcase their skills, exchange ideas, and contribute to the discourse on digital citizenship. Participant testimonials reflected the success of the initiative in educating and inspiring attendees.
