The Staff Council of DAV College Jalandhar organized a one-day trip to Timber Trail Parwanoo and Pinjore Gardens on March 22, 2025. Twenty-one members of the staff council embarked on this memorable journey, which was made possible by the permission granted by Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar.
The trip was meticulously planned and executed by Dr. Punit Puri, Joint Secretary of the Staff Council. The day began with a departure from the college in a luxurious Urbania coach, where members sang songs and enjoyed karaoke, setting the tone for a fun-filled day.
The group stopped for breakfast at Ropar, where everyone relished the meal and took photographs to capture the moment. Upon reaching Parwanoo, the members took the Timber Trail to ascend to a higher altitude, where they were greeted by a wonderful climate and a refreshing cold breeze.
At Timber Trail, members participated in games and won prizes, adding to the excitement of the trip. After a thrilling experience at Parwanoo, the group proceeded to Pinjore Gardens for lunch. The picturesque gardens provided a perfect backdrop for group photos, which will serve as cherished memories of the trip.
The members returned home in the evening, bringing back beautiful memories and a wonderful experience of enjoying each other’s company. The following members participated in the trip:
