The newly renovated Hall of Fame of DAV College, Jalandhar was inaugurated by Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, Hon’ble Election Commissioner of India, and a distinguished alumnus of the college. Dr. Sandhu described it as a tribute to the institution’s rich legacy, visionary leaders, and outstanding alumni. He penned down his feelings on the Visitor’s Book and explicated the Hall of Fame as “ a testament to D.A.V. College’s commitment to excellence and a source of inspiration for generations to come”. Many other dignitaries present on the occasion were Sh. Rajesh Kumar Sondhi, a renowned industrialist, in the presence of Sh. Sibin C., IAS, Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab, Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar, Ms. Aparna MB, IAS, ADC (G), Jalandhar, Ms. Dhanpreet Kaur, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, Dr. Jaspal S. Sandhu, Former VC, GNDU, Amritsar and Sh. Vikrant Varma, Assistant Commissioner, Jalandhar.

College’s enduring legacy in several thoughtfully designed sections. “Legacy of Leadership” honors the Principals who have guided the institution’s journey. “Harbingers of Glory” showcases notable alumni who have made significant contributions in various fields. “Eternal Footprints” commemorates eminent visitors who have enriched the institution with their presence. “Caps Off to Success” celebrates graduates who have carried forward the D.A.V. spirit with distinction. “Forever remembered” is a solemn tribute to martyrs who once walked these halls and sacrificed for the nation. “Echelons of Victory” acknowledges the achievements of students and faculty who have brought laurels to the college, while “Parliament of Possibilities” highlights the remarkable participation and victories of D.A.V. students in prestigious Youth Parliament competitions, showcasing their excellence in debate, leadership, and governance.
The Hall of Fame now stands as a living archive, reminding students of the institution’s remarkable past and inspiring them to contribute to its legacy. The idea of creating a living Archive was envisioned by Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar and brought to life by a dedicated team comprising Prof. Namarta Kapoor and Prof. Shaveta with support of Dr. Suresh Kumar Khurana and Dr. Seema Sharma.
