Exposure Visit to Delhi organized by the Youth Services Department, Jalandhar

DAV College Students’ Exposure Visit to Delhi.
A group of dedicated students from DAV College, Jalandhar, recently returned from an enriching exposure visit to Delhi, organized by the Youth Services Department, Jalandhar. The trip, under the supervision of Assistant Director Ravi Dara, was a reward for the outstanding contributions of the college’s NSS volunteers and Red Ribbon Club members.
The students, including Aditya Mehta, Varun, Inderjeet, Rajiv Mishra, and Onkar Singh, visited several iconic landmarks in the Nation’s capital. These included the National Police Memorial, PM Museum, India Gate, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Qutub Minar, and the Lotus Temple. The tour offered a unique opportunity for the students to delve into India’s rich history and culture.
Upon their return, the students shared their experiences with Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar, who commended their enthusiasm and the college’s commitment to providing students with holistic development opportunities. Dr. Kumar emphasized the importance of such exposure visits in broadening students’ perspectives and fostering a sense of national pride.
“DAV College is proud to support our students in their endeavors,” said Dr. Kumar. “These experiences not only complement their academic pursuits but also help them grow as responsible citizens.”
The NSS and Red Ribbon Club in-charge, Dr. Sahib Singh, assured that the college would continue to organize such trips for deserving students. Prof. Vivek Sharma and Dr. Gurjeet Kaur also congratulated the volunteers for successfully completing the exposure visit.
