C J’ neon sign board.The grand inauguration ceremony, held on the college campus, was presided over by the Principal, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, who officially launched the initiative by cutting the ribbon. To mark this joyous occasion, saffron-colored balloons were released into the sky, symbolising the collective pride and progress of the college fraternity. This inauguration further strengthened the sense of pride and shared identity among the college community.
The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Senior Vice Principal Dr. S.K. Tuli, Vice Principal Dr. Kunwer Rajeev, Registrar Prof. Sonica Dania, LAC member Dr. Naveen Sood, SAWC Dean Prof. Manish Khanna, Deputy Dean Dr. Komal Soni, Staff Secretary Dr. Dinesh Arora, Joint Staff Secretary Dr. Punit Puri, along with the entire teaching and non-teaching staff. Their presence emphasised the significance of this effort and showcased the collective contribution of the college towards its success.
During his address, Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar praised SAWC for their discipline, creativity, and collaborative efforts, calling this initiative a symbol of the college’s growth and unity. He highlighted how SAWC continues to set benchmarks for leadership and excellence through such innovative ventures. He also extended heartfelt gratitude to the Dhiman family from Kartarpur for their generous sponsorship of the design, which enhanced the impact of the initiative.
SAWC Dean Prof. Manish Khanna remarked that this effort is not just a promotional activity but a meaningful attempt to strengthen the bond between students and their alma mater. It inspires students to take pride in their college and actively contribute to building a vibrant and engaged student community. The event brought immense enthusiasm as students celebrated the traditions and values of D.A.V. College.
