𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬.

D.A.V. College, Jalandhar gave opportunity to great alumnus to visit their Alma- mater.

The two leading personalities Sh. Sanjiv Aggarwal and Sh. Shant Gupta visited the campus on 18th March,2023 at 12:00 noon. Sh. Sanjiv Aggarwal ji has completed his post-graduation in M.A(Economics) in 1986 and presently MD of Ideal Precision Components Pvt Ltd. New Delhi. He deals in Auto parts industry OEMs for Maruti, Honda , Lumax etc.

Sh. Shant Gupta ji is chairman and promoter of renowned HAMCO GROUP, Jalandhar which is engaged in manufacturing of iron and steel and hand tools.

Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar along with Vice principal Prof. S. K. Uppal, Vice principal Prof. Archana Oberoi, Registrar Prof. Kunwar Deepak, Dr. S.k Khurana (HOD Economics), Prof. Sudha Arora, Prof. Isha Sehgal (Dean Alumni) extended a floral welcome to the guests. Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar discussed about the significant past of the college, which has entered in its 105th year of service in the field of higher education, extra-curricular and sports and its achievements in different fields. He emphasised that all this had been possible because of the illustrious Alumni of this great seat of learning. He said that in future too the college would excel in the implementation of the new education policy, credit based system and paperless work.

The distinguished Alumni also shared their college time experiences and how they can contribute for the welfare of the college. The guests also visited the gallery of ‘Hall of Fame’ situated in the heritage red building of the college and Economics department.

At last Prof. Isha Sehgal, Dean Alumni presented the formal vote of thanks to them.
