DAV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, Jalandhar- “A key to unlock the golden door of limitless opportunities and embellishing students with the glorious ornament of knowledge.” In order to recognise and reward academic excellence monetarily, a scholarship test was organised by DAV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School sponsored by Capital Foundation for the students of 10+1 and 10+2 (All streams) on July 20, 2023 under the dynamic leadership of Respected Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar and Dr. Seema, Prof. Incharge Collegiate School.

The scholarship exam was conducted in the form of Multiple-Choice Questions based on syllabi of previous class, Reasoning, Current affairs and Mental ability.

Around 300 students of 10+1 and 10+2 (All stream) appeared for the test. Out of which, 100 students had qualified the scholarship test. First 25 qualified students were given scholarship amounted to ₹ 10,000 each and remaining 75 students got a scholarship of ₹ 5,000 each.

Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar lauded the efforts of students and recited a few lines- “Succeeding in life is as simple as being a good student. All you have to do is pay attention, work hard and give it a best shot.” He also congratulated them on accomplishing this scholarship and emphasized that it duplicates his pride to surmise that they did all the diligent work without taking assistance from anybody. He further appreciated the efforts of Dr.Seema, Prof. Incharge Collegiate School and all the faculty members for successfully organising the test.

Dr.Seema, Prof. Incharge Collegiate School also felicitated all the scholarship holders and added that “All students are virtuoso.” She also blessed them to continue climb new statures of achievement, ever, always and after.

Last but not the least, Dr. Seema emphasized the collegiate’s unwavering commitment to nurturing talented individuals and providing them with ample opportunities to thrive in their future endeavours.
