This was followed by an interactive session on startups by the head of the Incubation Centre Mr. Kamaljit Kant. Starting with the introduction of startups which includes some innovation, granting of patents and the commercial viability of goods or services, he discussed the two startups of GNA universityโs students viz. Crafty India and Krishka Mitra, which were supported by the TBI. After this, Mr. Kamaljit focused on entrepreneur and social entrepreneurship and also talked about the difference between startup and venture.
Mr. Kamaljit discussed the constitution of the Incubation Centre, which consists of a 3D printing lab, Simulation lab, Manufacturing lab and Design lab. All these are quite helpful to the students in providing mentoring support and digital marketing. He said that the incubation center at GNA University also has an IPR cell which helps the students in filing patents. Mr. Kamaljit concluded his interaction after mentioning the various startup training programmes running in the University campus viz.
ยท Prayas โ one-month cohort program in preincubation phase.
