Festive vibes – Diwali fiesta celebrated at DAV College, Jalandhar.

Department of Journalism and Mass Communication in association with the Personality and Skill Development Cell of DAV, Jalandhar celebrated Diwali in the college premises on October 22, 2022.
Prof. Minakshi Sidhu, HOD of JMC along with other faculty members accorded a floral welcome to the chief guest, Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar. The students of JMC presented a handmade welcome card to the worthy chief guest. The vibrant celebration was filled with musical, dance and poetry performances by the students. Deptt. also conducted a photography event on this occasion with the theme ‘festive vibes’ in which students clicked photographs of the colourful decorations of Indian bazars, streets and houses on the eve of Diwali.
 
 
Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar gave best wishes to everyone for a prosperous and joyous Diwali. Also, he encouraged the students of JMC to actively participate in journalistic activities and adapt to the international standards of journalism. Prof Meenakshi Sidhu also wished everyone a happy, healthy and fun-filled Diwali.
