World Student’s Day Celebrations

Bansi Lal Mathematical Society, P.G Department of Mathematics organized ‘World Student’s Day on 15.10.2022 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam. The main thrust of the event was to promote and ignite science, technology and education of Mathematics and to make them aware of the latest development in sciences and technology. Dr. S.K Tuli, HOD, Dr. Seema Sharma, President, Bansi Lal Mathematical Society and other faculty members accorded a warm welcome to the chief guest Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar.
 
More than 25 students participated in the event and showed their skills. Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar admired the initiative taken by the department to celebrate this day. He also remembered Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam as the People’s President and Missile Man of India. Dr. S.K Tuli encouraged the students to participate in such events with full zeal. Dr Seema Sharma expressed her gratitude and admired the hard work of students.
Komalpreet (B.Sc III, C.S.) bagged Ist position, Kajal (B.Sc III C.S.) and Aqib (+1 N.M) bagged IInd position, Kriti (B.Sc II) and Tanmoy (B.Sc II C.S) bagged IIIrd position. Consolation prizes were given to Dhruv Sharma (B.Sc I N.M) and Jyotsana (B.Sc II N.M).
 
Dr. P.K Sharma, Prof. Anju Chabra, Dr. Ashu Behl, Prof. Rajesh Prashar, Prof. Sahil, Prof. Ranjeeta, Prof. Jasmeen were also present.
