Introducing Andhra Pradesh- A seminar on cultural exchange under EK BHARAT SHRESHTHA BHARAT project
An Introductory seminar on the state of Andhra Pradesh was conducted by DAV College Jalandhar on 26th April, 2022 under the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ Initiative.
The seminar emphasized that India’s Cultural diversity is ought to be celebrated through mutual interaction between people of different states with a common spirit of understanding. The seminar began with an insightful presentation on the culture, geographical boundaries, tourist destinations and folk dances of Andhra Pradesh by Prof. Deepak Wadhwan that received great enthusiasm and participation of students from various disciplines. Prof. S. K. Tuli, Prof. S.K. Midha, Prof. Ekjot kaur, Dr. Seema Sharma, Prof.. Naveen Saini, Prof. Sahib Singh, Prof. Swati Singla and Prof. Rajwinder witnessed the proceedings. Prof. Wadhwan encouraged the students to participate in the year long activities of cultural exchange to be organised by DAV college, Jalandhar under ‘EK Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’programme.
