PG Department of Computer Science, DAV College, Jalandhar organised poster/software project/model making competition on the theme titled “Science innovations” on 14-03-2022. The objective of the event was to ignite the fire of imagination and creativity among the students. Large number of students participated with immense zeal and enthusiasm and showcased their talent with creative projects and posters with vivid ideas and vibrant colours.
On the occasion Dr. SK Arora, Principal, DAV College, Jalandhar showered his blessings on the students and highlighted the contribution of such extra-curricular activities on the overall grooming of student’s personality. Prof. Salil Uppal, Vice Principal and Head department of English, graced the event and evaluated the performance of participants. Vivek Maan, Vivek and Yogesh Kumar bagged first, second and third position in project making competition whereas in poster making competition the first and second position was secured by Komalpreet and Sunita respectively. Pyara Singh and Sahil Jangra begged third position in poster making competition.
Dr. Nischay Bahl, head of department of Computer Science encouraged the students to engage themselves in more such activities and appreciated their efforts. Prof. Monika Chopra, Prof. Vishal Sharma, Prof. Leekha Jindal, Dr. Rajeev Puri, Prof. Namarta Kapoor were also present during the event. Dr. Kawal Jeet, Prof. Ritika Sobti and Prof. Ravneet Kaur motivated and guided the students during the development of projects and execution of events.
