A certificate distribution ceremony of all three workshops held in the month of October and November 2019 based on personal branding, cracking of group discussion and personal interview was organized by TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL of DAV COLLEGE, jalandhar .The ceremony was graced with the presence of worthy principal DR. S.K Arora, prof. V.K sareen (vice prinicipal, HOD Commerce & Ex dean, Training and placement), Dr. Nischay Bahl(Dean, Research), prof.Manav Aggarwal (Dean Placements), Prof Sameer, Prof Anisha, Mr Orvindra singh and mr Ajay.The ceremony was started by Dean TP cell Prof.Manav Aggarwal by congratulating the students and ensuring them that placement cell is taking big step by preparing the students beforehand by conducting these workshop. He also informed students about upcoming placements in big IT companies such as TCS, IDS infotech, Wipro and Infosys. Principal Dr S.K Arora and Prof VK sareen also appreciated the arrangements made by placement cell and said that placement cell provide the students with the opportunity to polish their skills through these workshops. After that Dr Nischay behl shared his views on usefulness of these workshops for Future placements and said that these workshops indeed have helped many students to grab job in various reputed companies.Students were provided with their respective certificates as token of reward for showing keen interest and participation in all three workshops .The ceremony was concluded by honouring Prof V.K sareen on his retirement after serving the college for 40 years and as ex Dean placements for providing his kind service to make placement cell a complete success.
