DAV College Jalandhar provides internship opportunities to its students which helps them to apply the knowledge in real work situation thereby closing the gap between the academic work and the actual practice. This also helps them to get connected with different kind of people, increase their confidence level, develop professional networks and transition to full-time position.
Selected candidates from DAV College, Jalandhar attended 45 days internship program in TIMES OF INDIA group Chandigarh. Bhawna Rana (B.COM second year), Sabhirochit singla (B.COM second year), Akshay Bansal (B.COM second year), Prabhjot kaur (B.COM second year), Nikita (B.SC final year) had privilege to work as an intern in TIMES OF INDIA. The internship was all about learning marketing skills. The 45 days we spent in TIMES OF INDIA were immensely eye-opening in term of exposure. Daily targets were given to our students and our students won various certificates namely:-

This internship provided a real life experience and exposure to the students to harness their skills, knowledge. It also helped to increase the communication skills, confidence and the patience level. Our students gave tough competition to the MBA students who came from various reputed institutions all across India. Not only had this, students also got stipend in thousands of rupees. We wish them a good luck and success in their life.
