PG Department of Computer Science of DAV College under the umbrella of IT Forum organised annual event ‘IT Fest 2019’. Function inaugurated by Principal Dr. S. K Arora, Vice Principal V.k Sareen, vice Principal Arun Mehra, Dr. Rajesh Grover, Shri Arun Arora by lightning the lamp. All the chief guests and guest of Honour were co-ordially welcomed and then DAV Anthem was played.
Dr. Rajesh Grover (Director, Pushpa Gujral Science City) made his presence as a Chief Guest and Shri Ritesh kumar Pathak (Scientist-C, Pushpa Gujral Science City) and Shri Arun Arora ( Associate Architecture, Myntra Designer pvt. Ltd) marked their presence as the Guest of Honour.
Principal Dr. SK Arora, Vice Principal Vk Sareen, vice Principal Arun Mehra presented College Monumental to Dr. Rajesh Grover, Shri Arun Arora. They welcomed and thanked guest for marking their presence.
Principal Dr. S.k Arora congratulated computer department for the fest. He said Computer department has made ways through entertainment for students for taking part in activities that helps in holistic development of children. Also, these type of fest should held on regular basis for students in order to show their creativity.
Dr. Rajesh Grover expressed his happiness for attending the event. Adding on, these types of fest not only makes us aware but also develops a feeling of love towards our country and culture inside us. They also helps us in eradicating social evils. He also encouraged students for being happy.
The celebration begun with wise words by Dr. Nischay Bahl Head of IT department and President IT Forum 2018-19 and enlightened about the activities that are designed especially for students of Computer Science through which their talent is evaluated on the basis of their intelligence, creativity, artistry and general knowledge.
Gavie began the Cultural Program with a song mashup along with his band members and the Audience enjoyed it alot . Then Sahil and Group gave a very impressive Bhangra Performance. Afterwards, students showcasted their talents.All the performances were enjoyed by everyone.
In the end, Head of Department and IT Forum President ,Dr. Nischay Bahl thanked all the guests and the participants .
