Students attended Ahmdabad and Rajasthan interstate tour.

Punjab government’s Directorate Yuva Sewa Vibhag organised Rajasthan and Gujrat interstate tour. In which many colleges of Jalandhar District took part. HMV College and BD Arya College were also part of it.DAV college students also took part in this. The main motive of this tour was to make students aware about different costums of different states, Which were political thinking,religious values and also make aware about historic values of these states.In this tour 45 students of jalandhar district participated, where 30students were from DAV College Jalandhar.

This trip started on 22nd March,2017 where students visited Gurudwara Tallihiyana Sahib and also payed their respects to one of the five Takhts Dumduma Sahib,Bhatinda district. Students spend first night of trip in that place itself. Second day was contributed to travelling,where the host bus left for the state of Rajasthan. On the third day students visited many tourist places like Amber Palaca,Hawa Mehal and Jal mehal in Jaipur. Fourth of the trip was spent in Ajmer Sharif Dargha and night wad spent in Pushkar. In Ajmer Sharif students gave their their respect to the religious shrine and in Pushkar students went to one and only Temple of Lord Bhrama in the world. On fifth day students were taken to Sahili ki Bhadii in Udaipur and one of the most beautiful palace of the city,which was city palace. On sixth day the trip,students reached Ahmdabad of Gujrat state.Where students saw Iscon Temple,Mata Vaishnu Devi Mandir and Sabarmati Ashram of Mahatma Gandhi. For seventh day students left for Vadhodhra were they visited zoo and kirti mandir. Remainings days were spent in Gandhi nagar were students visited AksharDham and Adalag Step well and also visited Jodhpur from were students came back to their starting point which was DAV college jalandhar.

This tour was supervised JS Rahi, Prof SK Midha, Dr Jagraj,Captain Amrik Singh, Helper Sarvan Singh,prof Baljeet Kaur,Prof Neha Mahajan and prof Mandeep Kaur.
