Sanskrit section of DAV college created history in Guru Nanak Dev University results
Students took place on 10 positions out of first 12 positions in 3rd semister. Even in 1st semister college took first 2 positions.
Of 3rd semister first 3 positions were taken by girls. First position by Himani, second by Ritu and third by Nisha. They celebrated their result with principal and teachers by cutting a cake.

It was looking like some type of festival at DAV College because college created history in results. DAVC Jalandhar created history by taking 10 positions out of first 12 university positions. This is a a record in itself that a college took all the top 10 positions. The whole college was happy by creating this history.
Himani sharma of sanskrit department got 331/400 marks and got fisrt position in the university. Himani gave the credit of her sucess to her teachers and she said this result is only due to them. Ritu got 330/400 marks and scored second position in the university. Ritu said that their teachers are their idols and they followed them only we should always give them respect by this we can get to any heights. Nisha scored third position by getting 329/400 marks. Nisha told that i studied whole night even i had done group studies this had made me get this get this success.
Sixth position was taken by Praveen, Seventh by Bhola Devi,Eighth by Shubham,
Ninth by Mohit, Tenth Sunita, Eleventh by Aman deep and twelfth by Shiv Shankar.
Even in first semister college got first 2 university positions.First position was taken by Suresh Kumar by scoring 335/400 marks.Second position was scored by Rajni by scoring 321/400 marks.
Dr Vijay Kumari Gupta said that creating intrest of sanskrit among students is our priority. Our students never took studies for granted. They had given thieir best in their studies. They had put a lot of efforts and hard work to get this result. DAVC is the only institutes where study of sanskrit is free of cost and this is just to increase the intrest of students among sanskrit.
Principal Dr S K Arora said that I am proud of you all and congratulated everyone for this result. I congratulate every teacher student and even their families for this result. Hard working and dedicated students help in the development and success of the college. After that principal said that today a history has been created in the College.
