N.S.S and N.C.C deptt of D.A.V college Jalandhar organised essay writing and poster making competition on “Aazadi 70”,In which 45 students participated.
Principal Dr B.B.Sharma addressed the gathering by stating co-curricular are also important part of student life along with academics, students should also embrace the fun of participation in extra mural activities.
On this ocassion Vice Principal Prof Vijay Kumar Sareen advised the participants to be a good citizen and always keep alive the artistic side of live.
Winners of essay writing were Chirag Sharma, Bhavna and Ankish who came first,second and third respectively.
In poster making Gurpreet stood first, Shefali was second and Riya was placed third.
