DAV College Jalandhar Girls Hostel celebrated teachers day with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Firstly they went Doordarshan Kendra for live telecast of teachers day special show “Sikhya Vichari Tan Parupkaari” with warden madam Rumila Verma and Prof. Lakhbir Singh. Around 50 girls went there and there was a live telecast for 2 hrs. i.e from 4pm to 6pm. Later nearly 20 girls along with Warden Mam Rumila from the hostel visited Principal’s residence to greet him with a pleasant surprise. Mam Rumila presented a bouquet to our worthy Principal Sir. They had a cake cutting ceremony there. Anukriti dedicated a poem to Principal sir. Girls had a great celebration and received blessings from sir.
Girls also greet their hostel warden Madam Rumila Verma with a surprise cake. So it was a lovely celebration.
