DAV College celebrated International consumer and Water Day

Youth Department and NSS Unit of DAV College, Jalandhar observed International consumer and Water Day. On this occasion, they pioneered a seminar on need of eliminating anti-biotics from everyday eatables and saving water.

Vice Principal Prof Vijay Gupta welcomed the guests and talked about various ails and said that staying away from ailments is the key to living a healthy life. Neelkanth Sharma, District Dosage and Supply Officer weighed on awareness related with purchasing items and their use and the demand for the relevant bill.

Dr. S.P.S Grover, New Ruby Hospital Jalandhar presenting its thoughts said without physician advice any anti-biotic should not be eaten. Madam Dr. Aikam focused on enhancing nutritional value in daily eating food.
On behalf of Youth Services Department, Assistant Director Captain I.S Dhami encouraged to play social responsibility and appealed to save water to curb this menace of growing water crisis in the coming time.

Then students marched a rally based on water day where they displayed save water related message-pinochets. Mr. Subhash Goyal, President, Social Security Cell also inspired to save water in his address to students.

Principal Dr. B.B Sharma gave his gratitude to the guests and emphasized for envisaging further similar seminars.

On this occasion, youth to-ordinator Pro. Naresh Sharma, NSS incharge Prof. S.K Midda, Dean EMA Prof. Sukhdev Singh Randhawa, Prof. Manjit Singh, Prof Dinesh Kapoor were also present.
