D.A.V College students influenced by the ideas of Prime Minister Shri Narinder Modi.
D.A.V College, Jalandhar on the auspicious occasion of birthday of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati graced the grand seminar "Nayi Disha, Naya Sankalp" in New Delhi congregated by D.A.V and Arya Pradeshik Sabha, Haryana which included Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the countrywide D.A.V institution related 800 schools and colleges with their revered Principals alongwith student faculty of 60,000.
President D.A.V. College Managing Committee Shri Poonam Suri ji gave a hearty welcome to the representatives of countrywide D.A.V institutions and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing the mass meeting with the topic of the seminar "New Direction, New Resolution" Prime Minister Shri Narinder Modi quoted to make everyone aware of Swami Dayanand Saraswati's life stories to extract inspiration from it. He also narrated some of Swami Ji's life events. Afterwards he manifested his gratitude to Chairperson Mr Poonam Suri ji and D.A.V College Managing Committee and appreciated the boundless contribution D.A.V institutions are giving in education discipline of country .
Shri Narendra Modi voiced, "our glorious nation is witnessing the operating of many great plans and as corollary in the coming time by 2030, India will set new dimensions and D.A.V Family will keep on contributing to its fullest in it. " The Children during the event swayed the hearts of everyone by presenting a colourful programme. It was a rejuvenating experience being with so much young friends in "Nayi disha, Naya sankalp" program following discussions of government policies regarding youth development. It is a very happy thing that Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati's ideas still inspire millions and contribute improving society.
The power of a good society blended in a good deed cannot stop its success at no point. It is indeed extolling to see the enthusiasm of DAV Family towards "Namami Gange."
