“Hurricanes” and “Musketeers” with their consistent performance reach the finals , and the Dragons and Rockers won many hearts .
The IDM CCL Season 6 has reached it’s final stage where the hurricanes and musketeers will battle against each other for the grand trophy .
Today both the semi finals were played on the Dav grounds .
The first semi final was played between hurricanes and rockers won the he toss and chose to bat where rockers putting up a bad start could not survive against the deadly bowling attack of Rahul . Shubham (11runs ) , Vikram (10 runs) and the team scored a total of 49 runs and got all out 13.1 overs. They failed to perform well in the initial and middle overs and ended up losing all the wickets , and could not even complete all the overs .Following this target hurricanes gave a thrilling start and completed the given target in just 4.3 overs by scoring 52 runs at a loss of 3 wickets . captain Sahil scored 15 and Mukul scored 15 runs not out. Rahul for his sizzling bowling attack (5 wickets for just 5 runs in 3 overs ) was elected as man of the match . Anmol from rockers took 2 wickets giving 22 runs.
The 2nd semi final was played between musketeers and dragons where musketeers won the toss and chose to bat posted a challenging target of 137 runs in 15 overs at a loss of 8 wickets , where captain Lovish scored lovely 39 runs in just 22 balls and shivam contributed 30 runs with his diligent batting attack . Shubham took 2 wickets by giving 22 runs .Following which is the dragons put up a good play through out the innings , and the match had turned really interesting in the last few overs where in the last over dragons needed just 4 runs but Captain Lovish turned the match around ,and his team won by lucky 1 run .
Naveen played well by scoring 30 runs but it could the help to win the match and the team , got all out at 136 runs in14.4 overs .Mayank took 3 and Kashish took 2 wickets . Lovish was chosen as man of the match for his all-round performance (39 runs and 2 wickets ) .
Luckily with their hard work consistency dedication and lucky instincts hurricanes and musketeers manage to reach the finals .
The final match will be played on Wednesday October 7 ,2015 in the Dav ground.
