The DAV College’s football ground was chosen as “Neutral Ground” by Punjab football association in the 29th Punjab state super football league .
At 4 pm in the evening , a football match was played between BSF jalandhar and RCF kapurthala in the DAV College Playground.
The match ended up into a draw of 1-1.
The 29th Punjab state super football league organised by Punjab football association has reached reached its middle stream . A total of 8 teams are playing in the tournament.
Every team is bounded to play 3 matches in its home ground , 3 matches in some other external ground and 3 in the notified neutral ground.
DAV college feels privileged enough and holds a sense of pride to organise the football match on its ground being sponsored by the Punjab football association.
At 4 in the evening a match was played between BSF jalandhar and RCF kapurthala . Revered principal Dr B B Sharma was the chief guest at the occasion.
Principal Dr B B Sharma after addressing the teams inspired them to play with the sole feeling of sportsmanship because only it is the true essence of any game or sport. Dr Manu Sood (HOD physical department ) was also present .
From the starting of the match BSF jalandhar team had maintained its influence .During the 15th minute of the match Boy Singh managed to upload the team Till the first time team had already earned bonus points by 1-0.
In the second half team upholdes a more vigorous and defensive performance and during the 82nd minute Balraj made a goal for RCF Kapurthala and the which made them the battle ended up in a draw .
Principal Dr B B Sharma with a heart full of gratitude thanked the Punjab football association for ranking the DAV football ground as”neutral ground ” and congratulated them for the grand success of the event organised by them.
