Chemistry department of DAV college organised welcome ceremony for the fresher’s of MSc chemistry semester 1 in the college auditorium., where the students of MSc 1 and MSc 2 presented a glorious event.
The chemistry faculty gave a floral welcome to the Principal and Vice Principal.
Principal Dr B B Sharma, vice principal Prof P K Sharma initiated the event by lamp lighting ceremony .
Principal Dr B B Sharma welcoming the students bid them best wishes for the future and quoted “we all are the products of this chemistry department” , he motivated and inspired the students by quoting “Don’t let your guard down! Convert every single stumbling stone into stepping stones”! Believe it , and achieve it!! He also connoted about the worthy contributions made by our worthy vice principal and Hod Prof Pk Sharma.
Vice Principal Prof P K Sharma welcomed the new valiant fresher’s of MSc and quoted about the invaluable contributions of SS Bhatnagar , and all the faculty of chemistry department and all the lab technicians. He quoted ” its not a formal meeting , but a kind of interaction between the seniors and juniors and said Dav has been grooming various raw beautiful talents from past 9 decades “.
Students presented folk dances, bhangras , Punjabi tappe on songs like . Priyanka sang beautiful songs and Punjabi bolia.
Rishab presented a break dance on great collection of songs.
The university rank holders of semester 3 were also rewarded on the occasion.
Various games like baloon dance , tongue twisters , musical chairs were played and audience was enthusiastic .
On the occasion Prof Sarita, Dr Rajeev Sharmsa and Prof Sheetal, were also present.
