Mathematics department of DAV college organised a fresher party “AAGHAZ” for the semester 1 students .
Welcoming the students quoted beautiful Urdu shayayari meaning “u blossomed and enlightened our hearts with your esteemed beautiful presence”.
Principal Dr B B Sharma (the chief guest ) was presented with a floral welcome by Prof Ajay (Hod) , Prof S K Tuli , Dr Poonam Sharma and Dr Sameer Sharma.
After the Sarawati Vandna and lamp lighting ceremony Dr Seema Sharma (president Bansi lal mathematics society) welcomed every one .
Prof Ajay Aggarwal (HOD) welcomed all the fresher’s and inspired and motivated them to achieve good results in the upcoming exams and wished them good luck .
Dr B B Sharma while talking to the students he quoted ” DAV provides a bright and illuminated future to the students , you just need to stay dedicated , concentrated , hardworking, confident and passionate for your targets “. He inspired the students to reach the top by carving and shaping their inner abilities and capabilities. He also honoured the university rank holders.
The event started with a dance at Ganesh Vandana by Priyanka, Kavita and Monika . loveleen , Shalini, Rupinder presented a group dance turning the audience crazy.
Navya,Neha,Kanwal, Priya presented group dance winning all hearts. Avi and Summer presented a skit named ” Bholi in KBC” and turned the environment jolly and full of comedy. Later Navodita,Ria,Kriti presented a group dance and Suneet won all hearts with his beautiful singing.
Some students danced on the song “ainviyi ainviyi “, and Nivodita with her danced won every heart.
Akanksha,Varun,Gaurav,Vishwajeet,Sanjeet, Harpreet, Davinder presented a skit named ” elections”.
“Rahul” became Mr fresher and “Manisha” miss fresher.
Dr Seema Sharma (President Bansi lal mathematics society) thanked every one for making the event a success .
