The Post Graduate Sanskrit Department of DAV College organised a welcome party for the new comers in the college Auditorium.
The students of Sanskrit from 11th, 12th, BA 1st year, BA 2nd year , BA 3rd year presented a glorious and colourful event.
They entertained everyone with their beautiful Dance forms , songs , Punjabi folks , bhangras and modeling contests.
Principal Dr B B Sharma appreciated and enjoyed the performance of every students who presented their talents on the floor and he inspired and motivated the students for scoring good grades in the near future.
The meritorious students who secured good positions that n the university exams were recognized and awarded in the event.
Hod Dr Vijay Kumari Gupta, Dr Jeevan Asha , Prof Teena Vaid , Prof Ram Swaroop were also present at this occasion.
"Ritu" of MA 1st year was tagged as Miss fresher, and "Prateek" of BA 1st year was tagged as Mr Fresher.
The entire event was hosted by Shilpa from MA 2nd year.
