An extension lecture on group discussion and time management and interview skills was organized by training and placement cell in collaboration with commerce forum on 17th September, 2014 in DAV College, Jalandhar.
Prof. v.k sareen, dean placement while welcoming the guest speaker prof. vinay chirania, an IIM Bangalore alumnus and faculty members from IILM gurgaon underlined the need for developing such skills to be successful in competitive world to get entry into corporate world and institutes of higher learning.
The guest speaker in two an hour interaction with students gave practical tips about GD, how to face interview and time management. Mock group discussion on the topic “whether india can be a super power “was held for which students from audience participated. The experts shared immense knowledge about discovering and sharpening inner skills among students.
Principal Dr. BB. Sharma congratulated the organizers for holding such program and blessed the students. prof. vijay gupta (H.O.D,Commerce deptt),prof. Manav Aggarwal ,prof. nischay Behl (H.O.D computer department),prof. Nidhi aggarwal presented award of honour to the visiting faculty.
Prof. Nidhi while proposing vote of thanks appreciated the skills of experts and discipline of students and their active participation.
