Students of B.Sc. II and B.Sc. III of DAV College Jalandhar organized a welcome function for B.Sc. I students. In addition to the interaction session and modeling, students entertained the audience with songs, music and dance. Prof. Hemant Kumar enthralled the audience with a song on women empowerment. Prof. T. D. Saini, Head Department of Physics, welcomed the Vice Principal Prof P. K. Kapur to the function, who inaugurated the function with lighting of lamp. He introduced to the students traditions of the college and exhorted the students for developing overall personality.
Miss Ravneet Kaur was adjudged Miss Fresher and Mr. Amritpal Singh was adjudged Mr. Fresher.
