Students of mathematics Department of DAV College,Jalandhar brought glory to the institution by bagging top positions in the University exams held in May, 2014.
Jasmeen Kaur of M.Sc.(Maths,Sem IV) stood third in the University by recurring 79.25% marks.
Heemanshi and Priyanka of M.Sc.(Maths,Sem.II) recurred 77%,77.4% marks and stand sixth,fifth in the University.
Principal Dr.B.B.Sharma, Prof.Ajay Kumar Aggarwal(Head, Department of Mathematics) honoured and congratulated the students for their achievements Prof.S.K.Tuli, Dr.P.K.Sharma,Prof.Semeer Sharma were also present on the occasion.
