D.A.V College, Jalandhar under the aegis of Mahila Club orgnised two day Workshop on Creative Skills in collaboration with the expert team of Fevicryl-Pidilite. The workshop was inaugurated by Principal Dr. B. B. Sharma. In his inaugural address he congratulated Prof. Seema Sharma, Incharge Mahila Club and her dedicated team for taking this initiative to organize this event. He said such events are helpful to exhibit and learn creative skills.
Prof. Seema Sharma, incharge Mahila Clue while highlighting the aims of the workshop said it was organized with a view to make the students and faculty aware about latest trends and patterns of creative art and painting. She also appreciated the efforts of expert team of Fevicry-Pidilite for collaborating and cooperating in organizing this event.
Under the Workshop a special training session was organized in which students and teachers learned the techniques of fabric painting, pot painting, glass painting etc.The workshop was organized in association with the expert team of Fevicry-Pidilite.
More than 50 girl students participated in the Workshop and they learned creative skills. All of them were awarded certificate of participation. A special exhibition was also organized on this occasion in which fabric painting, pot painting, glass painting etc. were displayed. Prof. Kiran, Prof. Asha Verma, Prof. Sonika, Prof. Kanwaljeet, Prof. Usha Uppal, Prof. Viajy Gupta, Prof. Renu, Prof. Archna, Prof. Seema Saini, Prof. Ashu, Prof. Rajwant and other faculty members were also present on the occasion.
