IBM, ICICI Bank and DHFL Pramerica Ins Co. at DAV College, Jalandhar

Training and Placement Cell organised Campus Placement Drive for students. Three leading companies in the corporate world IBM (an IT company), ICICI Bank and DHFL Pramerica Ins Co. conducted the placement process. Prof. V K Sareen, Dean, welcomed the representatives from IBM. Mr. Ketan Bansal, Mr. Sameer Bhola, Ashish Dhiman and Mr. A Khanna from Pramerica ins and Mr. Vicky Soni & Mr. K Sharma from NIIT IFBI recruiting partners for ICICI Bank. Dr. B B Sharma, Principal lauded the role of Training and Placement Cell in placing large no. of students in reputed cos at attractive packages recruiters made PPT about their organisations, job profile, career path etc. After written test, online test, Group Discussion & personal interviews, 15 students were shortlisted by IBM, 28 by Pramerica Ins. Co. and 42 ICICI Bank for final interview. The students after selection will be joining as Junior Sales officer in ICICI bank (S. Package 1.8 lakhs p.a.) Customers Care Executives (S package 2.5 lakhs p.a. in Gurgaon and Noida) Assistant Salas Manager (S. package 21.40 laksh p.a. + incentives by pramarica). Despite annual examination, about 75 students participated. Prof. Manav Aggarwal, Prof. Nishcay Behal, Prof. Vishal Sharma, Prof. Vijender, Prof. Sandeep Marwaha, Prof. Nisha Khanna and Prof. Richa Kohli & Prof. Sanjeev Sharma assisted in the placement drive.
