The Convocation of DAV College was held at college auditorium. The chief guest was Dr. A. Mukhopadhyay, Honorable Scientist ’G’, SERC Division, DST, Ministry of Science & Technology New Delhi. He distributed 806 degrees to graduates and post graduate students of April 2011 batch along with Principal Dr. B.B.Sharma, Seth Kundan Lal Aggarwal, Chairman DAV Local Managing Committee, Vice-Principals Prof. PK Kapoor and PK Sharma, Registrar Prof. Ravi Manuja.
On this occasion, 273 degrees to the PG and 532 degrees to the Graduates were given. The convocation was addressed by Dr. A. Mukhopadhyay. Dr. BB Sharma welcomed the chief guests and said that Dr. A. Mukhopadhyay is one of the eminent scientists of country and students of the college are blessed by his presence. He also congratulated the degree holders and blessed them for their bright future.
Prof. Ravi Manuja, registrar introduced the degree holders to the chief guest. Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Department of commerce was also honored for his PhD degree. The chief guest was honored by Principal Dr. B.B.Sharma and others with token of love.The students of EMA department presented a cultural program. The function was conducted by Prof. Sharad Manocha.
