Department of Zoology, DAV College, Jalandhar, organized “Eco-Quiz” and Poster Presentation Competition. The function was presided over by honorable Vice Principal Mr. P.K. Kapoor and Mrs. Karoona, Head of Department of Zoology. Quiz was organized under the guidance of Mrs. Karoona with Dr R.D.P. Gill as organizing Secretary and Mrs. Shruti Gupta as Quiz Master. During addressing to the audience and participants, Mrs Karoona emphasized on the fact that today’s event was initiative to make students aware about environmental issues and that the outcome of the quiz will not be judged by how graceful the quiz would be but how much knowledge the students will acquire from the quiz. The top four teams for quiz were selected after the written test. The quiz achieved a huge success. Vice Principal Mr. P.K. Kapoor congratulated the winning teams. The winners of quiz were Navneet (M Sc II), Binny (M Sc I), Anchal (B Sc I Med) and Ruchika thakur (M SC I). At the end Dr. R.D.P. Gill extended her vote of thanks to Mrs. Karoona, Dr. S. S. Rajprohit and students for making the event successful.
