FAREWELL PARTY
Commerce Forum organized farewell party “NEVER SAY GOODBYE” on March, 19, 2012 in the college auditorium where students of M.COM I bid farewell to the outgoing students of M.COM II with great enthusiasm and off course nostalgia.
Function began with a floral welcome of Chief Guest Prof. C B Gaur (Vice Principal) by staff and students of M.COM II. Lamp Lighting Ceremony was done by Prof. C B Gaur, Prof. Vijay Gupta, Prof. Rajeev Sharma, Prof.Ashok Kapoor, Prof Arun Mehra, Prof.rajeev puri, Prof. Manav Aggarwal, Prof.Manish Khanna, and Prof.Ram Kumar.
Then vice principal Prof.C.B.Gaur in his speech wished good luck to the students of M.COM II for their future and appreciated the efforts of M.COM I. He also expressed his hope that students will continue holding top positions in the university.
Students of M.COM I presented very entertaining group dance, solo dance and solo song performances.
Students of M.COM II participated in ‘Modeling Contest’ which was judged by Prof Rajeev Sharma, Prof.Ashok Kapoor, and Prof. Rajeev Puri and Prof. Preeti Gupta.
The contest had 3 rounds Named ‘Interaction Round’,’Cat Walk Round’and’Question Answer Round’
Different tags were awarded to the students, tag of Miss Well Dressed &Mr. Well Dressed was won by Miss Amandeep Kaur& Mr. Bhuvan Lamba, Tag of Miss Perfect & Mr. Perfect was won by Miss Sakshi& Mr. Puneet Chopra,tag of Miss Charming and Mr. Handsome was won by Miss Anuja Khanna and Mr. Vajinder Pal Singh ,Miss Kanika Chopra and Mr. Mohit Khurana won the tags of Miss simple and Mr. simple.
Finally Miss Ashima was crowned with the title of ‘Miss Farewell’ and Mr. Jiten Khurana was awarded the title of ‘Mr Farewell’.
Some exciting games were also arranged for the students of M.COM II like musical chair, Balloon blowing etc. and were enjoyed by all.
Token of love and appreciation was given to the students of M.COM II by their juniors.
Token of love was presented by students of M.COM II to the faculty of commerce department.
At the end Prof. Ram Kumar –a newly elected president of commerce forum for the next session proposed a vote of thanks.
