Badminton tournament report
Commerce badminton tournament for girls was organized by commerce forum for the first time. The tournament was organized in the October vacations for two days i.e. 3rd and 4th October. The event was managed by PROF. NIDHI AGGARWAL.
The tournament was inaugurated on 3rd October and the chief guest was PROF. VIJAY GUPTA.
On 4th of October, prof V.K.Sareen was chief guest.
The matches were played between four teams namely;
Shutters
Smashers
Strokers
Dribblers
The team managers were PROF. PREETI GUPTA, PROF.RAMANDEEP KAUR, PROF. RICHA KOHLI, PROF. PRIYANKA SHARMA.
The matches were played at two levels;
Singles and Reverse singles (3rd October)
Doubles (4th October)
The matches were scheduled as:

Total of 20 matches were played.

These matches were played between one member from each team.
Shuttler vs Stroker
The match was played between smridhi and kavita Sharma.
Smasher vs Dribbler
The match was played between mehak and vandana gautam.
FINALS
Shutter vs Dribbler
The final match was played between smridhi and vandana gautam.
The match was won by VANDANA GAUTAM.

FINAL CEREMONY
Final ceremony of badminton tournament was organized on 17th October and honourable SHRI B.R MAHAJAN (C.E.O) and SHRI VISHAL MAHAJAN (M.D), sponsors of IDM COMMERCE CRICKET LEAGUE SEASON3 along with PRINCIPAL Dr.SATISH K SHARMA and PROF. C.B.GAUR and other respected members of faculty.
Prof. Vijay Gupta Prof. V.K Sareen, Prof. Arun Mehra, Prof. Rajeev Sharma, Prof. Rajeev Puri, Prof. Amit Jain, Prof . Manish Arora,prof manish khanna Prof. Nidhi Aggarwal, prof miss rajwant kaur, prof. miss preeti gupta, prof. miss priyanka, prof. miss richa kohli and and others were present in the programme.
TROPHY was given to the winning teams –
DRIBBLERS: SINGLES
SMASHERS: DOUBLES
Certificates were given to each participant.
